This box set features three volumes of hand-selected stories from the great Robert E. Howard, the originator of at least two genres of fantasy fiction, "Weird Western," and the genre that features his most famous creation, Conan the Barbarian, "Sword and Sorcery."

In Volume I: Kings of Unchristian Lands readers are introduced to Conan the Barbarian, warrior-king of Hyperboria, as well as Howard’s other high-fantasy creations, Kull of Atlantis, El Borak, and Solomon Kane.

In Volume II: American Violence, Howard conjures the grim and bloody specters of American folklore, the bandits, frontiersman, and outcasts who shaped this country in a spectacle of adventure and mayhem.

In Volume III: Grace and Treachery, the fairer sex have their turn. Heroines of great cunning and beauty put our warriors to the ultimate test and show why triumph and tragedy aren’t just a man’s game.
